BUSTED MCM WALL CLOCK (In a Junk Drawer) (2023) is an unavoidable deviation in my work, given life as a direct result of a long overdue shoulder surgery. Without the use of my dominant hand, improvisation was in order to feed creative urges. Having no left-handed brushes in my arsenal, I opted to use any object in my studio as an application device – so long as it wouldn’t require rigorous cleaning utilizing two hands.
