FIGHTING ILLINI (2023) Painted as part of Gabe Drueke's Transfer series, this vibrating orange and blue abstract canvas honors the artist's alma-mater, the University of Illinios at Urbana-Champaign. The composition is also a subtle nod to a beloved school logo which is no longer in use.
